What are your responsibilities at PVS?
As an Inside Sales representative, I support the International Sales Team by managing administrative tasks and serving as the primary point of contact for customers and leads. Additionally, in my role as Account manager for the EMEA region, I focus on maintaining and enhancing existing relationships while exploring new opportunities. This involves assisting customers with inquiries, guiding them through ongoing projects or commercial discussions, and developing new strategies.
Can you walk us through a typical day at PVS?
A typical day starts with logging in and grabbing a coffee, which is an essential ritual for me. After that, I check my emails in both my personal and the sales.export mailboxes. The variety of tasks keeps the job exciting; no two days are the same. My responsibilities range from preparing contracts to meeting with customers to discuss their business growth and product needs. Traveling for work is particularly enriching, as it allows me to learn about different cultures and meet new people. These meetings often conclude with a meal and coffee.
How did you become a part of the PVS team?
I first encountered Audac while passing the Experience Centre during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. The intriguing sounds coming from the bushes led me to explore the PVS website. A year and a half later, while job hunting, I noticed a vacancy at PVS and immediately applied.
What's something surprising that people might not know about you?
I'm a big AC/DC fan and even have a small tattoo of the band on my arm. I also love hot sauce and add it to almost every dish, which matches my personality—fiery!
What has been your most memorable moment at PVS?
My most memorable moment was my first "Crazy Friday" during my first week at PVS. Stijn made me drink an Omer ad fundum. The experience, capped with a round of applause and a handshake from Patrick, made me feel at home and solidified my commitment to the company.
What's your favorite music genre, and can you give an example of a song or artist you love?
I enjoy a wide range of music genres, from rock and hip-hop to pop and jazz. However, if I had to pick one, it would be (hard) rock. As mentioned, AC/DC is my favorite band, and I'm looking forward to seeing them live for the second and possibly last time.
